We fished Oakley on saturday.
The fishing was good. We didnt get a lot of walleye, but the ones we did get were nice size. Several four pounders.
All but one fish were caught on the maniac cut'r black with red flake smothered in leech flavor smelly jelly. The one other fish was caught on a wally minnow jr.
The fish were all deeper than I would have liked. About 30 feet down. All except for the one we got on the crank.
I would have had some nice pics for you james, but I left the camera home by accident. Actually, I left my proclamation home as well and didnt know the limits on oakley so we left all the fish there as well. I also seem to have misplaced all but one of my marker buoys. I am loosing it.
Anyways, I have decided I need better sonar on that boat. I guess I will have to start putting hints into the wifes ear for christmas.
I am done fishing until friday. Then its up to bear lake for lake trout. I still havent found anyone who wants to go test drive those big five inch maniac minnows with me. But, I did put the camera in my fishing gear just in case I loose my mind again.
