I think we should do it all. I've been trying to think of a good contest but have'nt come up with anything yet. Maybe a photo contest, like the photo of the month. Just a thought

I like the tournament and photo contest ideas. I also like the idea of having some sort of get-together for members. I enjoy those types of events alot.

If it feels good do it!

    Re: Ideas

We are looking at a Ice fishing Tournament in January, but would like to hear from all of our members. Please post your Ideas of where you would like to see this Tournament to take place, as well as species targeted. I like the photo contest Idea as well! I will put a thread together for the Photo contest, and start it next month. Keep the Ideas coming folks. thanks James

I think Echo, Rockport, or Strawberry would be good choices. All of them offer great fishing for big trout!

Echo and Rockport are both good choices, but Strawberry is not going to be easy to manage. Thanks for the Ideas and welcome to the forum! James

well yes strawberry would be tough! But Echo is a great place. Its not to big and it always has pretty good fishing. See now rockport is good too, But you may want to target both perch and trout. JUMBO perch in there, some bigger than a lot of trout i catch out of there. If I had to vote on one i would have to say Echo

First off thanks for the invite Skeet!

I like to see how people are using your stuff james,I know skeeter is a master at using the manic minnow on willard and I also read the post on the gorge trip sounds like you had allot of fun man,how can you afford the gas!

I need to get up to Jordanelle and catch me some lunker smallies this year,I tryed the chartruse 3" manic minnow at Yube this last weekend and caught some perch, was hoping the walleye would come out to play but everything had lock jaw and caught very few fish.

I like to use the 4 inch paddle tail in baby bass color, on a texas rig. it catches big bass! especially at Jourdonelle, and Hyrum. It caught me my biggest largemouth yet, at 7.5 lbs

Hi fish-n-fool! We went to Yuba a couple of weeks ago and hooked up with five Pike, but only landed one 13 lbs and one at 8 lbs. Both me and Scott Richards lost a Pike that was probably close to twenty pounds. All the Pike were hooked on the New 5" Minnow that we are testing! We also caught perch until we were sick of perch. Most perch were caught on the 1-1/2" Cut'r Bug in color #040. I will post the pics on the Photo section.

    Re: Ideas

The new minnow won't be available for atleast 30 days or more. We are waiting for our machine shop to get started on the mold, as they are back logged at the moment. As soon as we have some complete, I will post on this web site for you guys to have the first shot at them. What colors would you like to see? I rigged them on a 1/4 oz round head with a fiber weed guard.
